Boys Brigade

The Object of the Boys' Brigade is to seek the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect and all that tends towards true Christian manliness. We are the 1st Leamington Spa Company and we meet at the church during term time (side entrance, Guy Street East). We are part of the South East Division of the Birmingham Battalion, as well as belonging to the Boys' Brigade UK, whose headquarters are at Felden Lodge in Hertfordshire.

The Captain is Mak Lunnon, who can be contacted by email: markalunnon@yahoo.co.uk.

We work in different age groups, where the boys can develop an appropriate range of skills, play games, find out about their community and world and take part in visits to places of interest. From Junior Section upwards they can also attend annual camps, organised by the Birmingham Battalion or one of the other local companies.

There are four sections, each of which meets on Friday as follows:

Anchor Boys aged 5-8 6.00pm - 7.30pm
Junior Section aged 8-11 6.00pm - 7.30-pm
Company Section aged 11-15 6.00pm - 7.45pm
Seniors aged 15-18 6.00pm - 7.45pm
