First Sunday

First Sunday is the united youth service for the churches of Leamington and around. It is hosted at Leamington Spa Baptist Church every first Sunday of the month (bet you didn’t guess that!), and involves worship led by the band, a short talk, prayer ministry and much more.

First Sunday is organised and run by a Planning Team from the youth groups of the churches in the area, who meet every second Sunday of the month in the afternoon, advised by adults involved in the service.

Our mission statement is ‘Inspiring, Developing, and Uniting in Christ the youth of Leamington’, because we aim to:-

• Inspire each other to connect with and live out a vibrant walk with God.
• Develop our gifts and characters, with us (the youth) planning, leading, and serving at First Sunday.
• Unite the young people of this area in one service, and develop relationship and fellowship with each other.

Doors open at 7:30pm for an 8.00 start, aiming to finish by 9:30.

All are welcome, whether young, not so young, or just young at heart. We even provide a couple of chairs at the back for those who don’t enjoy lying on cushions on the floor.
